The mountain views are absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunrise and sunset—and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking and exploring the Smokies. This place was beautiful! Felt so private and had the most amazing views. The hot tub was nice and hot unlike many other places I've booked. The kitchen was fully stocked and we had everything we need. The fire pit was even stocked with all needed tools. Definitely would come again.

This cabin was the perfect getaway!! Our family of 5 felt right at home once we walked in. The place is so nicely decorated, super clean, and offers amazing views of the mountains. The owners thought of everything…exquisitely comfortable beds/bedding, plush towels, fire pit, lots of outdoor seating, indoor fireplace, and so much more!!! 5+++

Insanely nice place! It was the perfect location and cabin for my fiancée’s birthday. We stayed for 4 nights and had the best time! The cabin was so beautiful and clean inside and outside. The jacuzzi was incredible with gorgeous views. Mike was super on top of communication and anything we needed. Such a great host. This is probably my favorite Airbnb I have stayed at and really good value. If we go back to Bryson city, which I am sure we will, we’ll be staying here again. 10/10 recommend!

The view from the cabin was breathtaking. The host was friendly and very responsive. We had a great time, would definitely like to stay there again if the next time we are in the area.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was exactly like the photos.. getting there at night was a bit of a challenge just because we were unfamiliar with the area. I would recommend planning your arrival during daylight hours. With that said, waking up and walking out to the living room the next morning to see the view of colorful trees made it all worthwhile. Truly amazing place!

If you are looking for a beautiful home with stunning views then you have found it. Located at the top of the mountain you can sip the morning coffee with breathtaking views of the valley. Yes, the road up to this property is intimidating but the views are worth it. The colors of fall leaves give depth to the natural beauty before you. The house is well thought out and gorgeous in its own right. The s’mores welcome basket is a nice touch that shows the host has thought of everything. What makes this place even better is that its pup approved. Our pup loved being able to join us on this getaway. If you’ve made it this far and are reading reviews just book it, you won’t regret it.

This place was awesome! It was beautiful, surrounded by nature, and very peaceful! Everything matched the photos, very clean, and was exactly as described. Fairly close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Nantahala National forest, about 30 mins to an hours drive but well worth the visit. Mike was a great host, we appreciate him checking in on us during our stay. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone wanting a peaceful getaway!

Wonderful getaway for the weekend. The cabin was peaceful and clean. Couldn’t ask for a better weekend getaway in the mountains at this beautiful Cabin. The host was very responsive and answered any questions we had. We would definitely return to this cabin in the future.

The place was fantastic. Great views off of the back balcony and also from the hot tub. Close drive to downtown Bryson City. Mike was very personable and texted us a nice welcome text, as well as a nice farewell text when we were checking out. Hospitable all around. We had a small issue getting the grill started, and Mike was quick to give us a solution and it ended up working perfectly for our steaks. All in all, I highly recommend Mike’s place, and we will come back to him when we visit the Smokies again.

We loved our stay here! Gorgeous view, private, quiet and peaceful, which is exactly what we wanted! The cabin was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed using the hot tub overlooking the mountains. Mike was very quick with answering a few questions we had while here. We can’t wait until next year to come back to this little slice of Heaven.🩷

Mikes place is a one of a kind find - highly recommend! The cabin feels new, has so many amenities, is well decorated, spacious…the list of positives goes on. A couple notes that might be cons for some: 1) the awesome view is slightly blocked in the summer by all the green on trees and 2) it’s a drive up the mountain to get there. However, these are minor inconveniences to experience such a great cabin!

Great stay overall. Beautiful home that looks brand new. Views are great and probably even better once leaves fall off in the fall and winter. It's a trek to get up there so make sure you plan ahead with meals and no more than 1 trip a day up and down the mountain but once you are there stay is spectacular. Home had everything you could need in a kitchen and amenities.

We had an amazing stay at this Mountain View Airbnb! The location was quiet, serene, and surrounded by nature—exactly what I needed for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to the panoramic mountain views every morning was an absolute highlight. The space was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the host provided everything I needed for a smooth stay. I also appreciated the little touches like fresh coffee, local recommendations, and fast Wi-Fi.

We had the most magical stay at Mike's. It was even more beautiful than I expected. Mike was an amazing communicator and so inviting, we couldn't ask for more. The house was fully stocked and a perfect escape to the mountains. Close to everywhere we wanted to go. We had a blast at Lake Fontana, rented a little boat from a place called Almond rentals, drove to The Smokey Mountain National Park numerous times and were located close to town. The longest part is travelling up and down the mountain which took about two drives to get used to and we LOVED it. We have a front wheel dive Jeep and it was easy. I want to mention the impeccable cleanliness, ABOVE AND BEYOND. I would stay here again without hesitation - thank you MIKE!

Mikes place was amazing. Pretty steep hill to get up to but we had no problem in a Buick encore. The view was absolutely amazing even though you just want to cut down some trees to get an even better view. Place was super clean and had everything you need. The kitchen was absolutely amazing and had everything we need. Best Airbnb kitchen I’ve had the pleasure to cook in and I’m an executive chef so my expectations are high. There is a cabin right next to it and we could hear people but not to bad. All in all, one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. 10/10

Our family enjoyed the peaceful location and the view. The road to the top was initially intimidating, but was easy to navigate after the first trip up and well worth it for the tranquility. Check-in was easy and Mike and team communicated well. The location is great for outdoor activities, such as Fontana Lake, Nantahala, hiking trails, etc. and excursions into multiple mountain towns and Cherokee. Would stay again!

Great place High up the mountain, definitely an experience for a flatlander

Our extended family booked a stay with Mike at his stunning mountain cabin. He was super responsive with all our communication always answering within minutes. He was incredibly kind and very generous with accommodations. The cabin is situated very high up on the mountain side and has spectacular views. It’s very peaceful and quiet. The cabin is both rustic and modern with a beautiful interior and tons of outdoor spaces to relax and take in the view. Everything was spotless clean and very well kept. The beds were very comfortable. We will absolutely come back for another stay. We recommend Mike and his beautiful home very highly. Thank you again for such a worry free and enjoyable vacation stay.

Absolutely gorgeous, modern yet cozy, dream home! Magical view of the Smokey mountains, you feel like your on top of the world. Spacious- upstairs loft and bed that felt private, main floor bedroom and bathroom, and downstairs bedroom with king bed, bathroom, and living room with games and a large sectional couch— the hot tub right outside on the bottom deck. Outdoor table on the top deck with a super nice grill on the top deck. Large gorgeous windows and doors. We were seriously impressed. Best Airbnb we’ve stayed in so far. Outdoor fireplace with plenty of wood. In a gated community— so we felt super safe— but the houses are far apart and definitely still felt very private and peaceful. Our sweet pup had plenty of room to run around outside. The host was very communicative, kind, flexible and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again!

My family and I recently stayed at Appalachian Peak Paradise. It truly was a paradise. The cabin is new and everything was immaculate. The beds are also very comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and quiet mountain retreat!

The serenity this cabin offers is amazing. It’s a modern twist of your typical cabin done with great taste. The drive up to the cabin is beautiful and although it may seem a bit hairy for newbies, it’s perfectly fine. I always think, if the construction vehicles were able to get up to construct, then a regular vehicle should be fine; with some caution on turns for possible oncoming cars. The cabin offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. All the beds are super comfortable and the cabin comfortably accommodates a party of 6 adults. The drive to the bottom of mountain is about 10 minutes from cabin and another 10 minutes or so to downtown Bryson City. The hosts were amazing as they were always available for any questions we had. Highly recommend.

Very Beautiful scenery, The cabin had a beautiful layout with beautiful decor and furniture. The highlight is the jacuzzi overlooking the view. It was so relaxing. The hosts are super friendly and communicate well. This place is on top of the mountain so don’t let the drive scare you. It’s mostly paved most of the way up and goes to gravel when you get to the driveway of the house. I would suggest going during the day if you can because the turns are easier to see, but we had driven up in the evening and it was fine. The views of this house is one of the most spectacular I have ever seen. The sunrises and sunsets!

We had a wonderful stay at Mike's place and are already looking forward to returning for a longer visit. The home was spotless, thoughtfully appointed, and tastefully designed—comfortable without feeling overdone. We loved that firewood and a starter log were ready for use, even though we didn’t get a chance to enjoy a fire this time. The hot tub was exceptionally clean and easy to operate, and the architecture and overall design were beautiful and inviting.

This place is a fabulous escape from the world. After the first trip up the driveway, it’s much less scary. Beautiful views, quiet, 15 minutes from town, quaint and friendly people downtown.

Amazing scenery! The house is immaculate. Bryson City offers several options for shopping and dining… the antique stores are some of the best I’ve visited (and that says a lot)… the gift shops are super unique and fun as well… there are many dining options. Although the cabin may seem remote at first sight, it’s actually really private while being in close proximity to anything you may need. The best part of our stay was watching the dawn and the dusk over the mountains. ❤️

Absolutely stunning views. If you are looking for a quiet and private place to relax with family away from the crowds, this is the stay you need to book. Place looked brand new and upscale. Takes a bit of a steep drive up the hill, and would recommend a 4x4 if traveling during winter or bad weather. We loved the drive in our wrangler, and it was part of the experience for us. We were glad we didn’t plan too many places to visit during the stay, so could spend a lot of time at the cabin. Highly recommend.

Had a last minute trip to get out of town for Spring Break and found this cabin available and enjoyed our stay. Short drive to Bryson City and the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad as well as visiting Cherokee and the nearby parks. The cabin was great, the drive up the mountain was easily obtainable in our vehicle and made the views worthwhile. The scenic hot tub overlooking the area was peaceful and the firepit with smores provided was a nice touch, very appreciative for the opportunity to stay.

This is a neat cabin! A few things to be aware of: the house is fairly close to another property, such that we could hear/see them when they were on their own back deck. In summer this may be less of an issue w tree coverage, but to be in such a /remote hilltop and yet still have 'neighbors' was disappointing. Also, the cabin is so new that it didn't feel quite finished. Only 1 closet which was FILLED w/ boxes of unassembled furniture. No towel rack in main bath. No night stands/bedside lamps, so impossible to read in bed. These may be remedied in the near future but we didn't have anywhere to put our clothes/suitcases and had to live out of bags on the floor which was disappointing. On plus side, the hottub is AMAZING, the two floors were wonderful (options!), and it was squeaky clean. Be careful on loft level stairs-- the stairs go up past the handrail and I took a tumble down them. Also, the road up is not for the faint of heart (but very doable in our Camry).

Great cabin and was as advertised. Be ready for a trek up the mountain, but it is worth it. Just secluded enough and has wonderful views. Host was very responsive with any questions. Definitely would recommend.

cabin had AMAZING views. mike was kind enough to give us clear instructions on how to access the cabin. my tesla was able to make it up and down the mountain easily, however i dont recommend getting into the area late at night as it gets very dark and the turns going up may be hard to see. other than that the cabin was beautiful with up to date appliances and plenty of space. would definitely stay again!

All I have to say is beautiful, breathtaking and marvelous. The views of this place is absolutely amazing. It’s on the top of the mountain on the edge. The hot tub is the best part just sitting there watching the view sipping some wine. The place was so clean inside and felt right at home. Mike checked in couple days before to send me a list of amenities and things to do. He texted me and checked in throughout the stay to see if we needed anything and to make sure we made it safe. Definitely worth coming back again. Loved it here!

We have found our go-to mountain getaway. I’m from Colorado and this made me feel right at home. It is clean, organized, well decorated but minimalist, and private. You’re literally on top of the mountain, moonlight and stars, and the Smokey mountains put on a show all day. A great cabin to bring your pups along as well! Nice walk around the mountain with the pups or hikes nearby. Mike was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions I had. He is incredibly hospitable!

The cabin was nicely appointed with great views of the mountains, a nice hot tub, clean, and met our needs. The drive to the cabin was a bit harrowing as the road was one lane wide with two way traffic and a few blind curves on the drive up and down the mountain.

Lovely spot in the mountains. I imagine when the trees are full of color it is like being in a painting. I love the winter views as well. While not colorful, you can see for miles and the night sky is amazing.

We booked this cabing for a couple of days and it was amazing.The views and tranquility of the cabin made us feel one with nature. The house is very clean and the smell of the wood cabin makes the mountain experience complete.The host is very accommodating and goes out of their way to help you with any you need.I will defenetly come back to this mounrain oasis.

My family and I stayed at Appalachian Peak Paradise for one night and it was perfect! It is an absolutely beautiful, brand new cabin at the top of the mountain with spectacular views! The cabin was spacious, with comfortable furniture and beds, and it was spotless. Prior to our stay, Mike answered any question we had right away, and during our stay he let us know he was available should anything come up. It was a short drive to The Polar Express, which was our reason for this visit. We spent the evening back at the cabin, eating dinner and enjoying the amazing view. My parents and my in-laws joined us for this trip, and we all agreed that we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Mike for having such a beautiful place to stay, and for being an accommodating host!
