Took a Birthday trip to NC and chose this space for our stay. Extremely pleased with the entire experience surrounding this home. Very well kept and private. We chose to cook during our stay and were able to get by with what the kitchen was equipped with but would have liked to have more pot/pans options. Not a big deal at all as I’m sure not everyone wants to cook on vacation but just a thought. Besides that, the place was perfect. Hot tub was clean and the whole house was in great shape. Looks exactly like the pictures. Would definitely stay again

Disappointment is the variance between expectations and reality. The listing looks like a 5 start resort in the photos and in reality it's more like a mid-range motel. This cabin needs lots of attention in order to get anywhere close to expectations. Pretty underwhelming experience that was only acceptable due to the low cost of a 1 night stay. Additionally we received an inordinate number of messages asking us to come early or stay an extra night. We received so many requests I turned off notifications off on the app.

The house was beautiful and perfect for people with families. Each floor had spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Games to play for adults and kids and a huge kitchen to cook in. The property was beautiful, especially for fall with the leaves changing!

I live in a similar home in a similar setting on a ridge and understand the challenges of maintaining such a property as well as this cabin home is maintained. The visit was delightful, peaceful and comfortable. Driving in we arrived about an hour early and I asked permission to check in early and to my surprise I received an almost immediate response. It is also important as a Visitor to respect the home you are staying in, we of course afforded that in return as all should. Thank you and blessings!

What an amazing and peaceful place to stay! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely relaxed and at ease. Everything about the stay was comfortable, quiet, and refreshing. The setting was perfect to unwind, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. I’m already looking forward to bringing my family back so they can enjoy it too. The place was great. Plenty of space for everyone, quiet, and peaceful. We loved sitting in the hot tub at night when it was cool and quiet. Its a short drive to Lake James which we spent a couple of days on. Would definitely go back.
