Good life cabin 1 · Rustic Log Cabin

If you have kids and want to explore easy trails and waterfalls, this is the place! Positive: Beautiful location! We loved that it was remote, yet not far from town at all. It was a good base for exploring Asheville and Psigah as day trips. Plenty to do around Bryson. The property is comfortable and warm. There was a random snow fall and freezing temps during our stay, but the cabin was warm and dry with hot water on demand. The jacuzzi was perfect- we loved ending a day of hiking in the hot tub. Very quiet and nestled in the woods. Beautiful Mountain View. Before coming out, I read the reviews and a few people mentioned that the road leading up to the cabin is scary and that the driveway is “collapsing”. I was nervous about this to the point of reaching out to the owner, but they assured me the roads are ok. I want to report that the roads and driveway were perfectly fine, NOT collapsing, and I felt safe (being from FL, we aren’t used to mountain roads). Great vacation, thank you!! Negative: No complaints.

Positive: It was out away from most people Negative: The steps from the loft. Not sure exactly what was wrong with them but I had issues getting up and down them with my bad knees

Wake up have a cup of coffee in the morning while enjoying the view and peacefulness! Positive: It was so secluded! Love the quietness and enjoyed every minute of it! The host was exceptional! Will definitely be booking again!

Great cabin getaway! Positive: The host was great! Very responsive and left an adorable s’mores kit for us! Negative: Everything was so well kept and stalked. We were able to cook breakfast and dinner. Had an extra tank of propane for the grill in the event we needed it or ran out. The host even left whole coffee beans and a grinder for coffee in the morning! We had everything we needed, no complaints.
